Museum Quality Restoration  and Archiving
Prices can vary and is based on the condition of the original and the expected output.  Generally an image restoration can range from $20 to $50 and is based on the original quality, size, and if the image is an original paper image, or has been digitized.  We can also digitize your images and place those precious images on 100 year Archival Gold DVDs.  using N.I.S.T.'s (National Institute of Standards and Technology) accelerated aging process to test the longevity of DVD-R media, the Archival Gold DVD-R has been shown to safely store your images for more than 100 years. Not only can we put your images on Gold DVD's we can print your image on museum quality paper, or canvas up to 24"x 36".Don't let your memories lay in a box and decay.  We will work your project regardless of the size, and keep the memories for generations to come. We also convert slides to digital images andprints.*1

Condition Code Levels are multipliers of base price. 
      I      = $24.00  Minor restorations ~ minor fading and scratches
     II     = $48.00  Medium restorations ~ medium fading and scratches
    III    = $72.00  Major restorations ~ major fading and scratches
     IV   = $96.00  Major restorations ~ fading, folds, and scratches
       V   =$120.00 Major restoration ~ pieces of image missing.  Holes in original, folds, and scratches
(Water spots are automatically a condition IV)

*1  Kane Studios can convert large slide collections and place on archive DVDs and/or museum quality prints. Slide collections must consist of at least 50 slides with prices starting at $250.00 (no-prints). Discounts are available for slide collections greater than 500. All conversion include minor color correcting. This price does not include any image restoration.  Large scale image restoration for slides requires a consultation and review of the images before a price can be quoted.
